Loganport Varsity vs Northwestern (12 - 4) Win Indiana's top rated Logansport Berries Class 3A softball team had little problems Thursday night with Northwestern, wnning 12-4. Logansport banged out 13 hits including a three run home run by Brooklyn Hagerty, which was her third in two games this week. Bianca Cortez got a double and a single; Aracyn Good had a double and a single; Gracie Risley came through with three hits inlcuding two doubles, and Evie Kitchel added a double. Adrienne Scott, Kate Spradling and Bella Nicoles also had singles. Logansport scored one run in the first, three in the second, one in the third; five in the fourth and one each in the fifth and sixth. Northwestern got three runs in the third and one in the seventh. It got its four runs on eight hits. Risley started on the mount for the lady Berries, and she was relieved in the fifth by Hagerty. Logansport is now 19-1 for the season, and will travel Friday to Twin Lakes to battle for the Hoosier Conference championship. It will also play a doubleheader on Saturday at Benton Central.
